One of our favorite events of 2010 happened just a few weeks ago. When Twitter reached out to us and said they needed help with their Toy Drive – we were all ears! Our Rabbits were put into action to do the shopping and donate a toy behalf of Twitter employees. All Twitter folks had to do, was log onto TaskRabbit, and describe the type of toy they wanted to donate. Our Rabbits picked up the jobs, did the shopping, and then delivered back to Twitter HQ. Twitter made sure the SF Fireman’s Fund got all the toys for some very excited boys and girls this holiday season.
This promotion began as a way to help the busy folks at Twitter participate in the toy drive but, due to popular demand we ended up extended our promotion to everyone! With the help of @hope140 we were able to get the word out about this joint Twitter / TaskRabbit toy drive that benefited some great kids.
