Leah Busque, our founder and CEO, had an idea worth spreading at today’s TEDxSOMA conference in San Francisco. Leah shared her thoughts on how technology is redefining the age-old concept of a neighborhood.
Quick snippet from Leah’s talk – People have formed neighborhoods since the beginning of time. Typically, neighborhood formation was dependent upon physical space or proximity. But, technology is changing this. Neighborhoods can suddenly be defined by personal interest, dynamic location or perhaps even the time of day. Consequently, we are on the brink of a massive redefinition of community, and what it means to be part of a neighborhood.
