Task of the Week: Help me find a parking spot!

Urban dwellers… you know the pain – the pain of trying to find parking. Circling and circling the streets until a spot becomes available. It’s one of the most difficult parts of living in the city and can often be a time-consuming and daunting Task.

TaskPoster Kevin C. certainly knows the pain. He was once one of the lucky ones with a reserved parking space. However, his luck changed recently when he found out his spot was being taken over by some construction around his apartment building. Kevin is based in San Francisco, a city known for scarce parking. With a full-time job and several extracurricular activities, the thought of having to find a parking spot in the ultra-crowded Marina neighborhood where he lives was just too much. So, Kevin turned to TaskRabbit.

Kevin needed a TaskRabbit to browse sites like Craigslist and look for parking spots in his neighborhood that he could rent monthly. Good news for him – TaskRabbit Michael C was game to pitch in and help! According to Kevin, Michael was very prompt and pulled together an extensive spreadsheet of potential spots to choose from. This earned Michael a five star rating!

Aside from being awesome in general, what makes this Task special? Michael is based in Boston and Kevin lives in San Francisco. Did you know that you can post a ‘virtual’ Task and a TaskRabbit in any of our open cities will assist you? Maybe you live in Dallas and need some research done online? Perhaps you are based in Orlando and need some help editing or arranging an online photo collection? Live in Washington D.C. and need some help with fundraising calls?  Well, we can help!

If a Task can be done just using the Internet or phone, you don’t need to live in one of our active cities – Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Orange County, or San Francisco – you can be anywhere and TaskRabbit will gladly help!

What are you waiting for? Post a Task today!
