There are few things more annoying than getting a parking ticket. Wait – we thought of one – forgetting to pay said parking ticket. This is the situation that a TaskPoster found herself in. A few weeks ago, she got a parking ticket and, unfortunately, forgot to pay the fine on time. Consequently, the Los Angeles Transportation Department suspended her license. Ouch! As all of our LA TaskPosters and TaskRabbits can attest to, not having access to a car in LA can be a nightmare.
Parking enforcement told our TaskPoster that to expedite the reissue of her license, she should go to the courthouse and pay a $10 fee (on top of her ticket fine). Seems simple enough, right? Not so much. You see, this TaskPoster just so happens to be a doctor with a very demanding work schedule that doesn’t permit random trips to the courthouse.
So, how’d she get out of the bind? TaskRabbit Kevin P was more than happy to help! On Monday, Kevin will be outside the courthouse before it opens so he can be first in line to get her license back. TaskRabbit, for the win!
