Interview with Charlotte Tasker Glenn S.

It’s been over a month since we launched our first new wave of cities, so we caught up with one of Charlotte’s founding Taskers, Glenn S. Glenn has completed 13 tasks, and received 100% positive reviews! Read on to learn how he amazes his Clients, and how he’s doing creating his own business on TaskRabbit!

How has it been going in Charlotte?

It’s been great! Tasks have been coming in regularly! I have been tasking at least once or twice a day, and I even have repeat Clients — one of my Clients has hired me 3 times! I found out she was a DJ for a morning radio show, and she’s been talking about using Taskrabbit on her show! It was really great that she was talking up TaskRabbit, and promoting my business.

What do you think is needed to be successful on TaskRabbbit?

The key is being organized, responding quickly and communicating efficiently with all your Clients. I like to ask Clients for pictures and details, especially for complicated tasks. Do your homework and ask your Clients for more information!

How do you go the extra mile for your Clients?

I try to treat their house or business the way I treat my home. When I assemble IKEA furniture, I always make sure to break down boxes and consolidate any extra supplies. I also always bring my own garbage bags to make my Client’s lives easier. Finally, I always make sure to clean up after myself and leave their space clean after a task.
