Task of the Week: Reclaim Date Night

Our mission at TaskRabbit is to help people put some precious time back in their day and use that time to start doing what’s most important to them – you know, swap laundry time for time at the park with the kids or replace grocery shopping with time at the gym. TaskRabbit lets you simplify your life and carve out some “you” time.  One of our newest TaskPosters, Joseph H., got a taste of how great it can be to get that time back in this week’s Task of the Week.

Joseph and his wife are the proud parents of a one-year-old baby boy. Not surprising, they’ve learned pretty quickly just how demanding a child can be and, like all parents, they deserve a break every now and then. So, Joseph turned to TaskRabbit when he and his wife were planning a date night and needed someone to look after their son.  Since every TaskRabbit goes through a rigorous interview process and background check, Joseph knew his son was in good hands with Kari H, the TaskRabbit assigned to the job.

Joseph knew that working with a TaskRabbit meant more than just having someone watch his child for a night.  He was hopeful that he would also be building a relationship with someone in his neighborhood – someone he could trust  and work with on a regular basis.  In fact, after seeing how great a job Kari did, he is already planning on using TaskRabbit again when he and his wife need a night out on the town.

Whether you want to bring back date night, or just want to sit back and relax with a good book, TaskRabbit is here to help.  So, what would you do with some extra time in your day?
