Today, we’re thrilled to unveil two new apps for UK customers to post tasks on the go. Available on both iOS and Android, the new TaskRabbit apps let Clients hire vetted and approved Taskers in a couple of clicks, directly from their mobile device.

The app has been designed so users can browse tasks effortlessly. Tasks are conveniently organized into categories, such as cleaning, DIY, event help, gardening and assistance. For those looking for a little task inspiration, the app also highlights “trending’ tasks, letting users scope out the most popular outsourcing options in their neighborhood. Once a task has been selected, the Client can browse through skilled Taskers who are nearby and available to do the task.

Focused on delivering a streamlined and efficient way to outsource tasks, the app allows hired Taskers and Clients to communicate in real time via live chat, as well as provide push notifications to keep the user updated on the status of the task at hand.

TaskRabbit launched in the UK last November and has Taskers covering the breadth of London. From assembling flat-pack furniture to getting a last-minute, deep clean of the house, TaskRabbit connects people with little time with those who have the skills and expertise to complete the task at hand.

“Our aim is to provide a mobile experience that delivers the same quality as TaskRabbit.co.uk, coupled with the simplicity and flexibility that an app offers,” said our Founder and CEO, Leah Busque. “It’s perfect for busy parents and professionals who need valuable minutes back in their day. Wherever you are, a task can be set up within moments, meaning one less chore on your to-do list,” she said.
